Call to Action Powerhouse

They say around 90% of your website visitors are not ready to buy yet. They are just researching or browsing, much like someone does street shopping from shop to shop. For this reason, you find many websites trying to engage people that are not ready to buy in the hope that one day when they are ready they will remember you and come back.

The sad truth is most of your site visitors will just glance through your information before moving on to your competitors. The reality is they will forget about you very quickly. So, why should you focus all your attention on engaging an audience that simply isn’t going to buy? Why not focus on the 10% of visitors that are ready to buy your product or service?

Get Noticed

With this in mind, include a Call to Action in your website that is really easy to find and respond to. Make it clear and easy to follow. Your call to action is one of the most important aspects of your website as this would help in converting your site visitors into leads or buying customers.

While it’s great to give useful, valuable resources and information to your website visitors, what you really need is more enquiries or more sales online. This is where your call to action will work for you. If you primarily want your site visitors to phone you, put your phone number on the top banner of your website so it appears on every page and is quite large so it can’t be missed.

Do the same thing if you want them to fill out some kind of form like a quote request form. Make it really easy to find and fill out that form. If it’s too hard, they won’t bother.

Present Your Marketing Message through Your Call to Action

Keep in mind that your call action is vital in using your website as a marketing tool as this will provide focus, direction and a method to keep track of your success. Make sure that they give out your message in a clear and concise way. Present them in bigger and bolder fonts that are noticeable but not overdone.

Don’t try to appeal to everyone and cram your page with too many calls to action though. Cut the crap and highlight what really works for your customers and for your business.
